Slayer-esque Supernatural freemasons?
They're merciless, relentless hunters and killers of things that have no right to exist.
They are a secret organization of enhanced humans that serve as equalizers against a threat that most of the world has no idea exists. They use conventional as well as unconventional mystical weapons loosely based on stolen artifacts and objects of power to hunt monsters. The agents themselves are indeed human enhanced by a slightly magical hereditary bloodline. .
People want to believe they can change the world before it changes them. These are the people that makes sure it plays out that way.
Plot to as of yet untitled story.
This project is as of YET untitled....SO bear with me here
This is initially gonna be a comic book format, so it'll be in a script like format. Feel free to give constructive feedback.
Story/Plot:
The world is a dangerous place. As much as humanity would like to believe itself safe and in control of the world, the facts argue otherwise. Everyday, the news is filled with a testament of these dangers. Natural disasters that consume entire towns, acts of war, crime, and terrorism are growing in the world. For all the defenses and adaptations that mankind has accumulated to protect itself, danger still persists
These are just the threats that the average person recognizes, fed to the populace by mainstream media. Behind the scenes, an entire world of other dangers exist. Dangers impossible to comprehend, much less defend against. These dangers will never be reported on the front page of newspapers, will never be the breaking report on the major news networks, nor made the subject of charity drives or grassroots movements. No big named celebrities or public service announcements will ever warn citizens to protect themselves against them, and so humanity will continue to ignore their presence and disbelieve they even exist.
The truth is simple-monsters exist. Some are human, some once were human, and some only wear human skins to move camouflaged among the masses. All the supernatural creatures of legend lurk in the shadows just beyond the awareness of humanity. Most view humanity as little more than food, tools, toys, or some other resource useful to their cause and discarded with as much thought as we would give a used piece of trash. Others try to pass as humans in relative peace, even going so far as to assimilate to human society. Unfortunately for humans, even the most passive of monsters may possess abilities that present a danger to those around them, no matter how harmless their intentions.
The world at large isn't ready for the truth. And so it chooses to gawk at the blood, shake its head in disapproval and then go about its merry way, never really believing in the dangers that surround it. Unfortunately for mankind, not believing in the dangers doesn't stop them from being a threat. Instead, it creates a vaccum within which these threats thrive.
